dress sizes
This stuff is driving me mad...
I was checking out American dress sizes for a story and found this site. Translating the clothes I usually wear into US standards, it claimed I was a size four (or possibly a size six). But the few American pieces of clothing I've worn have been size 7/8.
And to make matters even more confusing I measured myself (85/72/95 in centimeters) and found that according to those I should be a size ten or twelve. Which translates to a 42 or 44 in European sizes.
Which translates to no fucking way. I know none of you except mudskipper have seen me in person, but I'm pretty average weight for my height, and my height is small.
So, other people, Swedes in particular, could you check out the site and see if your measurements correspond with your actual sizes?
ETA: Of course, it's possible I just have no idea where my chest, waist and hips are...
