A fun day
Well, yesterday I ended up getting about 3 hours sleep. Z left for work and crashed for a little longer until the little one woke me up. We discussed what we wanted to do for the day and decided to drive up to austin to see chrisloy and family.Stopped on the way to C's at Justin's work. He had told me some time ago that he had a box of my stuff he found while he was moving. Had to laugh when I saw his desk with a pic of his g/f and him on it. Found it odd that I tried for some time to get him to put a pic of us at his desk. All he ever had was a pic of the cats. heh. should have figured his feeling out from that. lol. He seemed kind of distant and ..oddly uneasy around me. He was amazed at how big the munchkin had gotten. Then again, he hadn't seen her since she was about 2 and a half yrs old.
We left there and heading to C&J's. Steven, Munchkin and I had a blast climbing in the kids area at burger king. Then we took Munchkin to a neat toy store so that she could pick out a birthday presant from Chris. She picked out a few fairy stuff and then we all went back to their place. We dug through some of C's craft stuff and got some stuff to make a collage and decorate Munchkins bank with.
I dropped Munchkin off at Z's work and the two of them met with Munchkins mom for dinner. I came home, had some dinner and fell asleep for about 30 min while reading.
Today, Munchkin and I decided to go swimming in the morning. I had bought her some floaty's and a fish ring for the pool last friday but we hadn't had a chance to use them till today. We were out there for about an hour and we both had a lot of fun. Munchkin and I decided to work on some crafts stuff after lunch. We decorated her bank with the stuff we got from C. Then we made 2 things for her mom. She had fun. Got another random I love you today and lots and lots of random hugz. (YAY)
Finally got my refund check from the insurance company. Was able to get the bank to take off all of my overdraft fee's charged from Hertz rental car taking $113 out of my account without authorization. Also got ahold of my lawyer's office. Told her that I recieved a letter from my company stating that I needed to pay $200 in order to contiue my insurance. My lawyer suggested that I hold off paying just yet and try and schedule the EMG as soon as possible. The ENC stated that I did have nerve damage in my right hand but not clearly in my left hand. The Dr's think that the EMG might show possitive in both hands so that will help my case.
David is doing better. We are still talking several times a day. This evening he drove up to His parents place (as we all still refer to it as) for dinner with his two brothers and father. He was uneasy going up there and had wanted me to go with him for dinner but I already had plans. He seemed to be ok when we hung up the phone though.
So. Over all, I had a great day. Got a lot accomplished and had great fun. By the time Z got home, Munchkin had just moved from curled up ON my lap to curling up beside my lap. Today was the first time that Z came home from work and Munchkin basically just said hi and stayed by myside. That was neat. Z dropped Munchkin off with her mom for the weekend. Not sure what all we are planning on doing with out time. I've had two friends call tonight that needed to talk because stuff was going on with them. 1 of them having issue's with her child's father. Might get together with her depending on how she's doing. Not sure. I'm glad to know that people do count on my friendship.
