Parties, Plans, Oh my
So. Bridal shower was hella kewl! We played a few games, had a trivial game that I failed Misserably (questions about Scott and his family!) LOL.
Candy did an awesome job. Thanks CANDY!! Her mom did a great job decorating as usual. She's really awesome! Had a pretty good turn out. I think there were about 12 ppl. My photographer was there and took some photo's. Got some kewl gifts. As usual Scott's mom is a spoiler. lol. Got 2 nighty sets. heh. some great candles and some other dirty stuff!
My mother and grandmother gave me a photo/memory book. Already started documenting things..
The bachlorette party consisted of 4 ppl counting me. We went to HardBodies. I'd never been there and I'm glad we decided to go there saturday night. LOL. We laughed, drank, Screamed, Got fondled by mostly naked ADORABLE guys. *Sigh* Jimmy Steel! LOL.
Oh, and don't forget Sincere *LoL* Sorry.. inside joke for the girls.
Anywho. After wards we went to Jims to chow down, then decided to crash the bachlore party. The guys were glad to see us, well. heh.. Never mind. I'll stop there. LOL. By the time Scott and I got home and to bed it was about 5:30. We had a pretty full house. My friend Jennifer (Thanks for coming Jen!!) Crashed on the couch and Scott's parents spend the night on the air mattress in Leah's room. lol.
Over all it was a great weekend. Got to spend some 3 on 2 time (lol) with My brother, sister-in-law and nephew.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this past weekend great. You girls Rock. We soo need to do that again... Oh Jeanette?!?! lol...
Received my veil in the mail friday. My friend, Shea in NC and her husband made it for me. Along with a necklace and earings. Wore the veil for the bridal shower. I LOVE the veil, it's beautiful! The jewelry is as well!!
Yesterday Scott and I went downtown to get our marriage license. It expires on the 11th of April giving us a few days extra. heh. Still have not been able to get ahold of Ogre. Sent him emails, myspace msg's and the invite in the mail. He told me he wanted to get together with us before the wedding (he's our officiant, in case you missed something!) but yet I have not been able to get ahold of him. Kinda worried since the wedding is less than 30 days out. heh. After we had that taken care of, we walked around the riverwalk. Had Dinner, Ice cream, did some window shopping and some shopping for gifts for the wedding party. We finally found something that we agree on to give the munchkin for her gift. We had a great time walking around, heh. then had to head out because it started to rain pretty good. Glad I thought to bring the umbrella.
This morning was another no sleep morning/night. So I got out of bed and cleaned a little then made breakfast for Z and I. Had some good cuddle time in before he had to leave for work.
We are going to be getting the munchkin today, this week is her spring break. We get her until sunday evening and then have her again the following weekend. Planning on getting her Flower girl dress this week if possible. Also need to get my matron of honor and bridesmaid together to get their dresses. Was thinking of having all 3 of us girls and all 4 kids together. heh. might be fun.lol.
I think we have the place picked out for the catering. Been trying to get an estimate from them for some time now, if I dind't already know they are cheaper than several other's i've called, I would have passed them up by now.. *sigh*. Speakikng of... need to call them.
