We're Engaged!!
YAY. It's official now!
Christmas morning Scott proposed to me.
He hurt his back the weekend before this one. This weekend it got a LOT worse. Poor guy. On christmas morning just as we were all about finished with christmas gifts he was in conversation with his mother and he took my promise ring off to talk to her about it. I was talking with his sister and next thing I know he falls to the floor. Thinking he was in pain and fell I turned and asked him what he was doing. Then, he turns toward me and holds out a very sparkly ring and puts it on my finger. Apparently his family didn't see what he was doing but my "Oh my god!!" got their attention. Heather, his sister, grabed the camera and started recording. She asked me what my response was and I responded with " I wasn't asked a question!". Then he asked me to marry him and of course I said yes!!
*sigh* A christmas I will never forget! He told me later that he wanted to take me down to the beach and ask me at suset but due to him not being able to walk and bad weather that did work. I told him the way he did it was beautiful. I LOVE my ring and I LOVE him. He's awesome. So. there's my christmas news.
