I was watching.....
Season 5 of the 2k3 TMNT series again. It's sad how I'm suddenly annoyed by stuff that didn't annoy me before.
I love season 5(one of the rare fans that does), but what's bugging me now, is that Leo is made to look stupid in the first three or four episodes. I hate how he kept failing at the Tribunal's lessons. But these lessons, inner strength and all that crap. This is all mental stuff. Focus, concentration, etc. SHIT THAT LEO'S BEEN SHOWN TO BE THE BEST TURTLE AT IN THE OTHER SEASONS.
He should have been kicking ass at this elemental fighting stuff. He should have been one of the best, if not THE best, students there. Instead he's the last out of the group of eight(human acolytes included) to figure it out! Donny I can kind of see I mean he was getting it easily, but Mikey and Raph? Nothing against them, but since when have they ever beat Leo at this type of stuff?
I dunno. I've always kind of explained it as he didn't do well because he was trying too hard. Or putting too much thought into it or something. But even that doesn't really seem right.
