Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge
I did sneak out for a short stroll through the wildlife refuge this morning.
They don't call it a wetlands for nothing!
Lots of birds and squirrels, heard a woodpecker but didn't see him.
And two muddy shoes!
I guess I almost waited too long and should have gone in Feb. It took me several minutes to find this little guy
This is the Tadpole Pond today after all the winter and spring rains.
This is the same pond last Aug.
