Foot-in-mouth disease
I seem awfully susceptible to putting my foot in my mouth as of late. Just 5 minutes ago I asked my mom "What did you burn?" as if she was the world's worst cook. She is not, in fact, the world's worst cook. She's just been harried lately, what with having to go back to school for her PharmD so she has better job prospects, and made a very human mistake.
The worst part of it all? I did not mean it that way at all. It just came out of my mouth without me thinking about it. Dad was about ready to rip my head off for it.
I seriously need to start thinking before I speak. My mouth gets me in more trouble than anything else I do.
