Just a tiny kind-of rant about my newest fandom
I've finished bleaching out my hair, and while it initially looks okay to me, I'm waiting for 
apollymi's opinion tomorrow upon her return of whether it turned out good or if I should go ahead with the Virgin Snow toner next weekend. And while I plan to deal with the kitty boxes in a little bit, I'm waiting for my hair to completely dry before setting about that chore with some Teen Wolf fanfiction.
And I've noticed a slight trend that makes me want to facepalm or headdesk myself into a coma.
I've stumbled across about three fics with the pairing of Derek Hale/Original Female Character today, and in each one of those stories the OFC is - if not physically then personality-wise - a female clone of Stiles Stilinski. And in more than two or three Derek/Stiles fics I've come across, one or the other is gender-flipped, usually Stiles.
Am... am I being overly sensitive when I think to myself almost immediately "so... you want to write Sterek but you don't like slash? Is that where we're going with this?" Because it almost makes me kind of ill that a series where one of the main characters is all but Word of God bisexual and there's an out gay teenager that some portions of the fandom present as borderline homophobic.
Ugh, why am I even posting on this? My only in-progress fic doesn't have any couple-focus except for the canon fact that Stiles' parents were married.
