A random question for anyone reading

So. Some of you probably know that I like doing things like sewing and drawing. I also like doing little crafty things.

About a week ago, I started thinking about making my own earrings for a costume I plan to do for Anachrocon in February. Yesterday I stopped by Michael's to pick up a four-pack of dangle earring posts and a couple of beads that looked rather 19th-century to me. I'd hoped to be able to at least make something decent.

What I wound up with was a very nice new pair of earrings and a vague desire to try and sell jewelry on Etsy.

This is a pic of the new earrings I made last night. I rather like them, and I have a feeling that similar earrings - maybe not with sterling silver posts, but I'm rather sensitive to other materials - might do fairly well in the NeoVictorian/Steampunk community.

What I'd like from my friends is a consensus on if you think I should make another couple of pairs and attempt to sell them, just to see how they do. I wouldn't charge a ridiculous amount for them - the earring posts were $3 for a pack of four and the beads were from a clearance-priced five pack for $3 as well, so this particular pair cost about $2 to make - so that might be a selling point.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and opinions!
