Just making a quickie post before I go head out the door for Long Day (i.e. the day of the week when I'm on campus for about thirteen or fourteen hours or so). Last night apollymi, roguegambit, RG's hubby, and I went to the local AMC to see Airplane! on the big screen. Given that I was 6 and the rest of the gang was 4 when the movie came out, this is the first time any of us got to see it on a medium other than video.
I had honestly forgotten how damned much I love slapstick and satire when it's done well. I might have to see about tracking it down on DVD so I can watch whenever I want.
And now, off to finish getting ready for work. The meme post will probably go up later today.
