Shit That Pisses Me Off At Work
Yes, you read that right. I am at work. I am not on my work computer, rather on another unit in the office. I am currently on another computer because, somehow, during a systems update IT managed to somehow fuck up my desktop's settings to the point where my user profile is basically gone.
No shortcuts.
No bookmarks.
No Outlook Express, which is the program wired through the entire department.
Basically, I'm fucked until IT sends someone to fix their stupidity.
Yes, I'm pissed off. It's difficult to do my goddamn job when the programs I need are fucking held hostage on my work desktop. The files are fine, they're on a shared network, but the programs? Pfft! Most of the backup units in this department are lucky to have Internet Explorer on them, never mind Microsoft Office!
*sigh* Fuck. I need to go check on the POS desktop again. If it takes me time in responding to anything today, you now know why.
