In the world of Seiyuu Rankings
In Japan, various polls on seiyuu are made. Sankaku Complex posted the poll results of the "Top Coolest Seiyuu", which is from the streaming site ANIMEONE (アニメワ). Another is about Seiyuu with best voice.
Unfortunately, Katsuki does not rank on neither of these lists much to my DISSAPOINTMENT, but it has made me curious as to where she does appear in these polls. Fan reception is something I enjoy looking for. Times are different, and some veterans are not as active in recent animated content (some even branching off to Japanese dubbing, like Sakamoto Maaya and Nana mizuki voicing heroines), but good ol' K is definitely recognizable.
This is all that I can find so far.
1.) Gundam ORIGIN Memorial. Who is good as Sayla? (ガンダムORIGINアニメ化記念。セイラさんは誰がいい?)
INFO: Due to the unfortunate passing of Inoue You (井上 瑤) back in 2003, fans wonder who would provide the voice of Sayla Mass in the announced Mobile Suit GUNDAM ORIGIN anime. Katsuki ranks at 45th place; in the TOP 3 is Kitamura Eri, Tomatsu Haruka, and Satoh Rina.
2.) Birthplace distinction Grand Prix | Woman voice actors Grand Prix (Hokkaido Region, Tohoku Region, Koshinnetsu + Gunma, Tochigi prefectures) (出身地別 女性声優グランプリ(北海道・東北・甲信越＋群馬・栃木地区）
INFO: Kōshin'etsu is Chūbu region. Simple: Entries are woman voice actors based on their birthplace. Top 3 are Mikami Shiori (Aomori, Tohoku), Itoh Kanae (Nagano, Chubu region), and Satoh Satomi (Miyagi, Tohoku). Katsuki (Aomori, Tohoku) ranks at 26th place.
3.) This person to curse at me! PART FOUR! (第４回この人［女性声優］にののしられたい)
INFO: I thought it was either "revile" or "well-known", but it seems to be "I want to be cursed by this person's voice" (罵られるなら). This is strictly for female voice actors, and is the 4th poll in a series. Katsuki debuts on this 4th poll at 27th place, right below Shin-chan Yajima Akiko. Top 3 are Sawashiro Miyuki, Kugimiya Rie (Tsundere queen...), and Noto Mamiko. Makes sense due to their activity. Maybe Katsu is low because getting cursed by her would not be a good idea ;)
4.) A soldier matches this voice actor (軍人が合う声優)
INFO: 合う = "to meet", "to match", "To agree". A simple: Man or woman, which voice actor (in terms of quality) fits a soldier? With her powerful presence that can command a village, and make any man or woman heed her instantly, Katsuki ranks at 30th place. Top 3 are big names: Otsuka Akio, Wakamoto Norio, and Koyasu Takehito.
