NaNoWriMo: Day Ten, Year Three
Word Count: 13000 words exactly
Brain Cells: jubilant, if tired
Cheerleaders: Gave me words to play with, yay!
I got almost 2000 words out tonight and I didn't start writing until after nine! Yes!
Work was a bear today (I know, when isn't it?), with our being closed tomorrow everyone felt the need to come in and visit their money today. And they'll all be back on Wednesday, because they couldn't visit their money for one whole day! Sorry, sometimes the heavier traffic that begins around now and lasts through the holiday season really starts to wear on me. Particularly in the midst of NaNoWriMo, when we're short-staffed and I can't find two seconds to write five words down during the workday.
The good news is that I have taken this Friday off and will be making a lovely long four day weekend of it in which all word count deficits shall be overcome. *I hope, I hope, I hope*
The best news is that tomorrow is a holiday and while I certainly plan to bow my head and remember the fallen and those who served their country faithfully, I will also be attempting to power through another 2000 or so words before evening rolls around. Wish me luck!
