Thank you. Celebrations thus far have included liberal indulgence of Robitussin and Sudafed. Hopefully real festivities will commence this weekend!

Yeah, I think Friday's prolly off. I'm home from school today, even though I feel fine once I'm thoroughly dosed up. The real trouble is that I have NO voice. NONE. I could hardly talk on the phone to my carpool buddy this morning. It's frustrating to feel (almost) fine (as long as the drugs are in the system) but not be able to do what I should be doing (teaching). :(

I will likely take tomorrow off as well, as it's a half day of classes, and 8th grade orientation in the afternoon. I also have Monday off, so this will be a nice long recovery for my voice. If you want to hang out with a silent partner, I'm down for that!

Thank you! I'm surprised it took me so long to come around to my favorite medicinal combo: sudafed, robitussin, and advil. Too bad I didn't figure it out until after my voice was making its exit, stage left. Now I can't speak above the barest whisper :(
