Birthday
Today is my birthday. I don’t know why but the birthday has been generally rather a blue day for me for many years, I easily feel depressed at the beginning of Feb.
But it’s beautifully fine today, after many cloudy days. The cats were enjoying the sun in our garden while I was doing my job at home.

And my good LJ friend vjezkova kindly sent me the beautiful e-card (thank you very much! I love it!), my two friends gave me the short messages via internet, another friend has sent me a small box of chocolate (yummy!). Friends are great!
Around noon it’s rather warm in the sun, I made a short walk on lunchtime - which I have not done for recent some weeks. I visited a small but very popular confectionery and got two pieces of cake for myself and mother. This is the small birthday celebration for me :)
Today is also the commemorative day for us, it’s been an year since Krurun has first come here to live with us. She is a healthy and lively girl, this has been a happy year.
The covid situation is still worse here and we have no prospect of future at the moment. And the weather forecast warns us the nasty weather - we might have some amount of snow tomorrow which would surely make a mess on the public transportations around Tokyo. This doesn’t encourage us at all.
Well, at least I’m fine, my mother too, no covid infection yet, and tomorrow I won’t need to go to the office. So I can’t complain. I know I’m a fortunate one.
