Update Update - Read All About It
So yesterday I came to school and found out that the whole campus was closed because of a water main break. So I turned around and went home. What a waste of gas!
Then this morning I left a little late for class and we got to the school at about 11:07 (class started at 11). While driving around I pointed out to Zac (Lil bro) that there seemed to be a lot of handicapped people at the school and there was absolutly NO PARKING ... anywhere ... So we drove around for a while and I spotted this women talking to another women who was in a car. I rolled down my window and asked the women that was outside the car if she was leaving because I was looking for a spot. She said she was and to give her a couple of minutes. So I did, and she eventually left.
As Zac and I were walking to the building we heard this women on her cell phone saying something about people leaving and not having class because there was a rally. I got pissed and told Zac that if classes were cancelled again I was going to shoot myself. As we got closer to the Gym I saw a whole bunch of TV crew vans and stuff and a lot of people standing around. It turns out that John Kerry was at the school promoting Patrick Murphy. So Zac and I watched and listened for a while and I got a few pictures. (I was really far away so they're not that good!)
Then I went to my Tai Chi class and NO ONE was there ... OK there were like 7 people there. We did the routine a few times and then ended class early. So here I am. Waiting for 2pm to come around so that I can go to my Comp 107 class.
While I'm waiting I'll tell you about the package I got from Don yesterday. While he was traveling to his sisters and all of that he picked up a few things for me. He sent: A mug from Roswell, New Mexico (it of course has an alien head on it), a T-shirt that says "Give me coffee and no one will get hurt" (it also has an alien head on it), then he sent a few post cards of the places that he visited, he wrote a long letter, there was a mixed CD with some pretty cool songs on it, a book with quotes about friends in it, he also sent peanut M&M's and peanut butter M&M's (he's trying to fatten me up!) and then the last thing was a gorgeous piece of rose quartz that he got in new mexico, in the same shopping area that he got my bracelet. (I'm wearing the T-shirt today)
He makes me happy :D
