conditions in Hammond, LA
i was wondering if anyone here had info on the conditions in Hammond, LA. a friend of mine was in that area (and i am guessing still is.. although the last time i heard from him was about 2 AM sunday night/early monday and the power had just gone out and the hurricane had yet to hit). i have tried to reach him on his cell phone even though i knew it probably wouldn't work, and so far it hasn't. and i have watched the news and searched all over the internet for information on the places effected and what kind of damage was done and haven't found anything on Hammond. so if anyone has any information or knows somewhere where i can find it please let me know. thanks so much!!
