Where do people get these crazy ideas???
Today Jenn and I are looking at our plants in the front yard. This is the front yard that we built practically from scratch upon coming home. The front yard that is lush and green, a small oasis in the midst of the desert. We have some grass and flowers, herbs and a couple of cool trees. About a month and a half ago I noticed that a heavy piece of statuary was missing from the front yard. It was not new when we got it, in fact the head had to be glued back on and we had to repaint her to boot. It was a concrete peasant girl with a basket. I loved her. Some jerk took her. I was shocked because she was really very heavy and I for none would never have stolen something that weighed as much as my right leg. Ah well moving on from that and into the other subject. As I was saying Jenn and I were looking at the plants in the front yard, and lo and behold some cretin has dug up and taken one of our plants. A pretty purple coneflower with two blossoms on it. This person or these people did not just take the flowers, ooohhhh nooo! They had to dig up the entire plant and take it, leaving behind a sad and lonely placard telling us just which plant had been abducted. Now what pathetic, rude, thoughtless ass-bastard just steals entire plants from peoples gardens? Who thinks of that kind of thing? And why! Just what did I do in a previous existence (or maybe this one!) to justify this kind of retribution? Whatever man.
