You're Just Gonna Hate Me 'Til The Day I Die
Yep, that's right. Abney Park lyrics. Which means that I've once again said "screw you!" to my better conscience and gone on another Abney Park binge. Beloved Sam and Capt. T, associates of mine through AIR, made me insanely jealous by going to see the Abney Park concert that was not too long ago. She even had video in her review, which made me squee deliciously (I do so love "Until the Day I Die", as evident by the title of today's post) as well as amuse the hell out of me when I realised that, in the video of the Deadly Nightshade Botanical Society's performance, one can see the pipe-smoking, spikey haired sillhouette of one Captain Robert Brown. Jabbering with Nate, I would assume, as Kristina does not have such a chiseled nose, but is in fact very cute and petite. A little distracting from the wonderful band on stage, but insanely amusing. Speaking of Abney Park, I have to announce my jealousy for my dear friend Erin (welcome, lelissy!) is going to Texas for the summer, and guess who's going to be in Dallas July 17th?

So, needless to say, I've poured some steampunky goodness (Abney Park's MySpace, Steampunk Gals, Steampunk Guys...) and requested footage of BANTER (for some strange reason, people go to live shows and only record the music. I mean, come on! Yes, music is WAY awesomer live, but the BANTER! The banter MAKES the show that much more fun! It's the difference between pirated live albums and going to the concert yourself! GAH!) and "Until the Day I Die", as well as an autographed (hopefully COMPLETELY autographyed -- my Lost Horizons CD still only has three signatures on it...) copy of Dark Christmas, but I don't know if she's really going to get me one (she prolly won't) but if she loves me, she'll at least get me banter, unlike all the losers who post banter-less music on YouTube. I mean, that Frakkin' video is hillarious! How do they not have more of that?! Or the Where's Kristina? bit. You don't write that stuff! It's improvisational gold! It might just be the Rennie in me crying out for justice, but I would more than happy to have a collection of banter to watch alongside my live concert, thank you very much, be it Abney Park or anyone else. Seriously! Like, what about the one time Ozzy Osbourne did his thing with the bat? If you missed that, how would you see it without someone recording the inbetween stuff? It's despicable, is what it is (and I'm sorry for the semi-random Ozzy reference).

Well, I'm using John Cusack for Artemius (a much darker, more interesting, drinking Artemius, which is very fascinating to write; although Apollo has me cracking the hell up!) and I just made a very awesome pictar for my siggie. See! See!
Oh yeah. It's a bit pushin' those with bad screen settings, but damn is it sexy! *is very proud of the layering job she did using MS PAINT, thank you very much, gloryhallelujahamenuhhuh!*
I have him drinking rum and cola everyday for very Jake reasons (and yes, I'm using Jake as an adjective there). :D I do love Must Love Dogs. It's one of my very favourite movies, evar.
As it is, I think I've fangirled enough for now. Ooh! Although I forgot to mention! HatBoyZero (the bossman of sorts for AIR) has asked me to be the official mod for the community forums! *squees!* I now official have a job for AIR! Yayz!
