River Song Would Be Proud of My Mad Archaeological Skillz
What's up peeps?
With sadness, I must report that I didn't win Screnzy. :( I know. I made it to page 92, but at the last minute, Celtx decided to start being a bitch (BAD PROGRAM!!! BAD!!!), and then I was oh-so-delightfully distracted by date night. ^-^ I tried my damnedest to get to 100 pages while babysitting the Oravetzes, but I only got to 92, and then... Well, I totally put Screnzy on a back burner, until four hours later where I'm like. "...Crap. You know what? I just lost ScriptFrenzy this year. *pouts* ...*shrugs* Meh. Whatever. I don't even care. *snuggles back into bed*" lol. I seriously did, too! lol. Chris even laughed at me. ;)
But, on the plus side, I have a lot of initiative at present. If I just put aside time for it, I could have won - 4 hours of bus riding REALLY helped. I'm going to seriously and honestly and earnestly work on writing more this summer. I have my Airship Pirates deadline for September, as well as lots of artwork to get done for Nekocon, and work periodically ^0^! And work means money, which means supplies, and ideally fun things! Though my first goal is to save my money. :( Something I'm incredibly bad at doing. Also, definitely changing my major to English, with an emphasis in Creative Writing.
Recently, I went through one of those parents-will-throw-my-shit-away-unless-I-clean-it-already kind of deals, and in the midst of cleaning up, I found hard copies of not only my manuscript for Airship Pirates (as of this summer, mind), but also some poetry that I thought I'd lost for all of eternity! ^-^ It's got me very happy, and so, lots of new stuff on kmlsarchives , for those who have been following. As it is, it's nearly midnight, and I just finished posting the last poem in that folder (expect me to post lots of stuff as I get around to it - some of this stuff needs to just be typed up and saved online already, so I can get rid of all the paper lying around everywhere!) and am going to turn in. As the Plague says: "Ew! ...Hard copy. *picks at it with obvious disgust*."
As it is, I'm starting to write original, new stuff for Airship Pirates again! :o! Inorite?! I also need to finish that bit I'm doing with Chris so we can get that ball bouncing again. As it is, honestly. I'm TIRED. I'll talkatchu lovely biatches later, yeah? ;)
And no, I'm not entirely sure what's up with the smack talk today, but... whatever.
