Fun Science

So, update on kmlsbentos . I got Chibi-kun her gift today, and she absolutely adored it :D . Dad was not too helpful on his review, but I'll live. As it is, Tony shared something interesting with me, so I thought I'd share.

1 and 2 . Both of which are considerably amusing to read, but also a fun source of science for a dull and boring day. I like to learn something new every day that I'm not in school; summer is usually exempt, but it doesn't mean I don't enjoy a good bit of education from time to time. As far as the animal technology, I know that even in Norstar, we've done research on the compact building materials that are built designed after mussel shells, sticky gloves that might hang oneself on the walls like geckos do, and even spider silk, which is ten times stronger than steel and a strand as thick as a pencil can take down a 747 Boeing plane. How's that for fun science?

I also watched Bowfinger today, with Steve Martin, and I have to say that it was actually really funny. I know Martin wrote this after sitting on a set and thinking, "You know, there are so many ways you can make this cheaper. Just go down to the border and pick up some beaners... get some nobody actor who sleeps with everyone for the leading lady and morale for the crew..." It's completely irreverant, but very funny.

As it is, I'm about to turn in (with the Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past in my posession! Mwahahaha!) so you folks have a lovely evening.

Ta!
