Yeah, so, I'm a dolt, right?
I honestly thought HBP was coming out Friday, so that the midnight show was Thursday. I'm on Gaia (as I am, periodically, though often just to update my avitar and puzzle) and I saw posters for HBP (again, obvious) so I decided it would be a good idea to ask Cameron (who I knew was going to go see it on base for the midnight show) if she would give me a ride Thursday night. She texted back, telling me that she was already in and, lo and behold, my clock read 12:04.
If I didn't have the tag before, I have it now. FUCK ME!
And on top of that, as I got my paperwork out so I could go downtown to get my classes scheduled before I went to bed, I realised something -- it was scheduled for Tuesday, not Wednesday.
So, yeah. I'll say it again.
FUCK ME!
On the upside of things, my father has finished my tracing table, so lots of fun yumminess with that, although I can't promise I'll be sharing them because of a certain complication between Vista and Lexmark that I'd really rather not go into. As it is, it sounds like I'll have to wait until my desktop is working again for that to happen. So, hurry up and wait, I suppose.
All in all, life is alright, I guess. I'm going to watch a John Cusack movie to cheer myself up. Or Tin Man -- that finally finished yesterday. Alan Cumming is good for that sort of thing as well. He's a fun brooder. I only wish I still had Must Love Dogs. As it is, I do have The Ice Harvest (which was absolutely fabulous, by the way, although it is a Christmas movie. Did I mention I watched The Santa Clause yesterday? I love Bernard, what can I say? I'm a Christmas-in-July kind of person. And on that note -- there's a fanfic on the way with that. Keep an eye out for it) and War, Inc., both of which are wonderful and very full of John Cusack. Maybe something else will finish up on Vuze. Or I could watch Pani Poni Dash! until I finish it...
