Now you have me really curious -- what is the title a reference to, and what movie recently treated fandom that way?

I thought Galaxy Quest was interesting because it treated fandom as a tad too obsessed at times, yet it was that very obsession which helped save the day in the end. (Er -- I hope I didn't give away anything there.)
