internet lacking
There is no internet at my new apartment. It is driving me insane that I have no way of communicating with the outside world while I'm there. (telephones don't count. they are scary.)
So... um... hi?
Christmas was interesting. I got off work Christmas Eve at 10:30 and was excited because some friends said we'd go to Midnight Mass. (Mostly because I bugged them to.) After Mer and I talked about it one year I became determined to go. Who would have guessed that midnight mass starts at 10pm? We could not find a single church in Tucson that had its mass at midnight. I even drove all over town looking. What a disappointment. The intention to go was not stemmed from an interest in the religious practice, but more from my own desire to see the pretty candles. ^_^ I am such a sucker for candles it hurts. Anywho, I thought the idea was such a good owe since midnight was so late and it would be a true sacrifice to part with sleep to go and worship. Bah. Apparently this is just another testament to the fact that Tucson is filled with children and old people. Mumble mumble...
Soon I go to California with Stephy. Woopie! *happy dance*
I don't really feel like posting a whole lot more since I have to go to work soon, but I miss people. If anyone is still in Tucsonia and bored out of their mind, give me a ring-a-ling on the ding-a-ling and maybe we can chill. <3 *loves*
