Last night I had a dream. This is special considering how rarely I have vivid dreams. This one was particularly vivid to the point of scaring the crap out of me. If you're good at interpreting dreams then maybe you can help me out with this one. I don't know, perhaps it's telling me I'm fucked up. *shrugs* Probably. Possibly not. Very interesting dream, I don't really know how to interpret it but I believe the fact that your friends are there and saying good bye to you is an important point, so is you going through this 'obstacle course'... I highly doubt your in a holocaust of sorts, your friends wouldn't be able to say goodbye to you (saying this I am probably looking too deep). This dream makes me think you are struggling about something in life, but in your mind. What it is, you may only know :)

~being thrown in jail could be your subconscious punishing you for something you feel you've done wrong. what religion are/were you? if you're remotely christian, i'd bet heavily on it ( ... )

Thank you both. My family is Muslim but I consider myself spiritual rather than religious. I'm not sure about some of the explinations, but they make sense. I'll keep them in mind.

Your dream is probably just the result of left over stress from finals/saying goodbye to friends/moveing stuff back to home from dorm room. The prison might represent you dorm and how much you disliked being in it over the semester. The various obsticales and animals probably are representations of stress from different things that have happened somewhat recently. Hugging your friends goodbye...well...thats you wanting to say goodbye to your friends (hope I was in there somewhere >_<). Take this analisis for what its worth....a shot in the dark by a senior majoring in pyschology at 11:30 at night O_o.
