So for sure we are meeting at 7pm at Coffee exchange on Sunday. I imagine the first half an hour will be people arriving and us talking, saying hi, getting coffee, etc, so I hope this works. I don't want to start too early so Cassandra can be included in the talks.

Don't forget that Apple has music crackdown practices similar to this for their iPod, and has all along. :) Recently, they've been under fire from countries in Europe (specifically Norway, I think). In response, Jobs wrote an essay talking about his need to keep intellectual property:

But, also check out this interview with IT lawyer Bob Kohn for an overview of the issue:

What caught my interest especially was the passage at the bottom:
"But Jobs wins both ways, thinks Kohn.

'If the majors drop DRM, then he becomes the consumer's hero. If they don't, the majors, not Apple, get the heat for the incompatibility problem that Jobs has caused himself. Steve can immediately eliminate the incompatibility problem by allowing others to make iPod-compatible devices or sell tracks in Apples proprietary iTunes format. The incompatability problem is the biggest impediment to legitimate music download sales, and if Jobs sublicensed his intellectual property, then the download business would triple in size overnight.'"

My show will run till 4 on Sunday and since its the last run of the show there will be a strike following it.
For me this means laundry and putting everything back in storage. I HOPE this wont take more than two hours so I'll eb able to meet you guys at 7, but in reality it will probably take longer.
