wall o' weird
one really random thing i wasnt expecting today- even though there were quite a few... i saw one of the ladies who interviewed me for the library job on tv talking about the library. that was weird. lol the painter who is doing our living room, after being out for a week or maybe two asked me how my interview went on mon. i was thinking, how did he know? lol oh well. i dont even wanna talk about it anymore, but ppl just keep asking. lol i had hopes, but they were pretty effectively squashed to a quarter of their original size.
on an even weirder note, on mon i noticed that there was a dead cat on top of our storage pod. we think it fell out of the tree. i told my sis and she told my parents and nobody did anything about it until today. the smell was horrible and there was a cloud of flies around it yesterday and i assume today too. then my mom asked my sis' friend (who my mom swears up and down is madly in love w/ my sis) to get it down after he had brought the baby back. and he did... once we got him gloves, a mask, a shovel, a thick black garbage bag, bug spray, and some bleach. lol it was a pretty amusing show watching him get it down, but i felt so bad that he did it. he didnt have to and it was so disgusting. from what he said it was covered in maggots and flies. he looked like he was going to throw up when he was up there so i peeked my head out of the door to ask him if he was ok. my godmom came over after he left. she said she died laughing watching him. she said she ducked into the house when he saw her. she thinks we've seen the last of him. lol *shrug* who knows? lol he's a pretty cool kid. if it ever comes to that (and it looks pretty slim, but if it ever does), i wouldnt mind him as a brother-in-law.
i got more quality time w/ rylee. totally should have seen that coming. nobody else could watch her and my sis had class and homework and my mom had homework. fun times since she was horrifyingly fussy. she wouldnt even eat, she screamed so bad. the only way for me to get her quiet was to sing to her. she fell asleep for practically 2 mins, but she wasnt screaming when she woke up so that was a miracle in itself.
lately, i've been seeing more positves to moving up north to get my masters. i feel like i cant really live my own life as long as i live here. it's past time for me to be calling the shots. i saw "the garden state" today. i was a little overwhelmed by their using the f-bomb so much, but then i realized it's new jersey (tho i still wanna visit lol if for nothing other than to see the biggest barnes and noble i've ever seen and to visit shay lmbo). lmbo it wasnt bad. i didnt think it was fantastic either tho. that guy was pretty cute tho and i could pretty much relate to floating through life without really experiencing anything or setting out to do the things that mean something. i'm not on lithium, but it feels like life has been numbed out all the same.
