Inspired
Ok, so I've been looking at a lot of crochet and knit blogs in my spare time and I keep thinking I should have one. Soooo I might turn this one into a crafting blog with the usual drabble about life in between. Who knows, we'll just have to see what progresses but this will be good for me to keep track of my creative A.D.D. :p
Works in Progress:
Amigurumi Hedwig -- I'd show you a pre-image from the online pattern but the site seems to be down right now (I hope not permanently though!!)
**Side note: I'm really into Amigurumi-type of critters at the moment I discovered them earlier this week and I guess I'm suffering from the "OMG how cute are these!!!!! Soo I'm gonna make a bunch of cute crap and hope to sell it someday! I ordered an amigurumi crochet book but its in Japanese so we'll see how that goes! (Anyone want to translate for me if I need help!? Sempai, Deidre, Danielle, I'm counting on you! lol) ***
Blue/Green Shawl
Currently I'm making a lacy-type shawl for Grayson's grandmother. Hopefully I finish it before she dies! (Well, she is over 85! I'm just being realistic)
Crazy Black & White Raven blanket for John
This one is my own handrawn / graphed raven to be crocheted at a later time. I really don't think this will ever be materialized but maybe after the shaw I'll get back onto this. Its really long and only about 3 inches tall :p
Tonight's Project:
I'm currently about halfway through "footie" # 1. I'm hoping by the time I get off work at 7:30am I have a pair of footies for Grayson. Once they're complete I'll take a picture but be warned they are my attempt at "masculine" but, he should be lucky I almost did them in pink and purple held together instead of black and white!
I guess thats it for now. Hopefully tomorrow or once I get a chance I'll post some updates and Amigurumi Hedwig and the footies might be done so I can post pics! I really hope that by blogging my projects I might be inspired to actually finish them. Now.. if only I could figure out how to make livejournal pretty... Oh well we can save that for another night.
