I kind of want to see a proper picture of these dark eyes of yours. I've seen dark ones before, but I dunno, I have a bit of a thing about eye colour. Maybe because mine are inconsistent. Are you still doing the no-one-sees-my-face thing?

Your eyes are very very blue! Also I changed my privacy settings, sorry. I have seen them look blue-green, but generally I'd say they're blue.

Aw, mini-you is adorable! I've always been kind of annoyed that I didn't inherit my dad's green eyes and black hair, because it's always such a striking combination on anyone. I remember arguing with my dad about it as a kid, and he said 'No Joss, your eyes are blue like your beautiful mommy's, and it's great!' My dad is so cute.

I agree, I love black hair and green eyes, but also blue eyes. I am actually ordering some blue colored contacts so I can sometimes I have blue eyes. :-) And you eyes are VERY striking, I've always felt.

Aw shucks. I suppose I could play at green eyes sometimes similarly, especially since I wear contacts anyway, but I don't think I will, for the same reason I wouldn't wear chicken fillets (do they call them that outside the UK?). I think my eyes are probably one of my better features, and I don't want to be alluring based on a fake thing, y'know? It is fun to play dress up though. Hmm.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to do it Paris-Hilton-style, but I think being able to "put on" blue eyes every so often would be fun. :-D Mostly though, I was gonna order them for Halloween back when I was still trying to go as Silk Spectre II, and then liked the idea of having them anyway...

Also here and here. :D They're basically just the same color as any Asian person's eyes, they're not weird at all in a country that has actual ethnic diversity.

They are rather striking though, it must be said. You look very 'Russian' to me, though I don't know a lot of Russian people so it might be that I think Russian people look like you.

My eyes are brown, but yours actually look darker than mine.

I always wanted gold eyes, or green, as my dad has green eyes. But I was always stuck on gold because they're so rare and are just a really, really pale brown color and also because the tragic eponymous character from Balzac's THE GIRL WITH THE GOLDEN EYES had them.

I've been thinking of ordering gold or green colored contacts, haha.

Yeah, well, you're only HALF Asian. :-P My eyes are pretty much as dark as it's possible to get without having the pupil and iris be the same color exactly though.

Gold eyes are lovely. They are most common (from what I've seen) on black people... in fact I don't think I've ever seen a white person with gold eyes. Does that happen, outside of fiction?

In junior high I knew a half Asian girl named Shari with golden eyes. But aside from her, yeah, the only people I know with gold eyes are black.
