Well, this weekend ended up rather a waste in terms of any sort of productivity, but I did manage to have some fun. On thursday, I went up to New York again for my new Columbia class (I'm going to feel like I'm a commuting student there soon), and afterwards finally got to see An again. haha. i already knew about bellmer dolls and sinner-saint. in fact, i sort of know anthony malat (the bassist and guy behind sinner-sanit) from when i lived in baltimore briefly four or five years ago. i hung out with him a number of times then/there and was a big fan of his previous band, love life (the other three members of love life have gone on to form the band called "celebration". i was really excited when i learned frank was going to be playing with them...speaking of bellmer dolls, i have no idea what i did with their CD EP. i have the case, but the disc is missing. argggh.

thanks for keepin' an eye out for me, though!

oh yeah...about a year ago, i was in touch with anthony to perhaps buy something sinner-saint. but he gave me a run-down of prices and they were, unfortunately, a bit out of my price range. very NYC prices. i think the cheapest things was a cravat at 70 bucks. though, if i had the extra dough, i certainly would invest.

Yeah, I'd guessed that the prices would probably be pretty steep. I thought you'd just like the look, and the Genet-esque name. Ha. So were you and Anthony moustache buddies? Is there such a thing as moustache buddies? There ought to be!

Well that is sad and disappointing.

Thanks for stomping on my dreams with your grimy cowboy boots, Richard.
