Pin ups

Does anyone know of an online comic drawn sort of like Penny Arcade, but with more female characters? I need some more icons and I love the facial expressions in PA, but I want to use a girl-person.

Meanwhile, I made some kitschy comics-related icons! I love 60s/70s comics so. I don't think I'm going to use all of them, so if anyone wants one, you're welcome to it. Mostly I just want to show them off.

While looking through various online archives for these pics, I stumbled onto the pin-up art of Dean Yeagle, which is rather cute. It's a bit over-annoyingly misogynistic* at times, but I suppose that's a given with that sort of thing, and especially since he's a modern pin-up artist. (It's interesting to note that women have become more objectified rather than less in erotic art of the last few decades, at least in my opinion.) Still, I really like the style of his faces and the lines of movement in his figures.

*as opposed to only somewhat-annoying misogynism that could even be counted as endearing. I'm not being so naive as to complain about garden-variety misogynism in pin-up art.

And I appreciate the playfulness of this art-museum series:

Other pin-up artists I like are Gil Elvgren, classic 50s pin up master:

And Alberto Vargas:

If anyone has any other artists they like, I encourage you to show me examples in the comments (and Richard, you can link to Tom of Finland if you want)!
