I keep wanting to post about Rutgers, but the anti-anxiety medication I'm taking makes me too tired. Anyway. For all the horrors of New Jersey, the campus I'm on is surprisingly pretty, with rather more green space than I'm used to. And I love the graduate studies office building: it's this old, dark, lovely antique house-looking thing, with an overgrown porch and front yard. Walking up to it, it feels like I am in some kind of Halloween movie. The only thing is, the door doesn't creak.
I'm still afraid to drive my car. I'll need to, though. For one, I'll eventually have to get groceries. And then, various graduate service departments are located at a campus that's a fair distance away and buses take ages.
Two of my apartment-mates have appeared. I'm still waiting for the third!
