(no subject)
Well, this is lovely. There are several things that are very annoying and irksome about living here, and lack of proper internet access is one of them. Outrageously expensive phone rates are another.
I'm currently sitting in a computer lab, where none of the keyboards seem to work properly, and where it's rather cramped and hot, and you often have to wait in a long line to get a place, and I waited my turn, and now the server is down. Grrr. I still need to send an email home to figure out some stuff concerning my visa, etc., and I need to look up several sites to see how much the plane tickets to London cost… and this lab is closing in an hour anyway, which means I might have to end up going to a net cafe, which means more money wasted.
This also might make it the first day since I got here that I haven't been able to talk to Fuchsia. Goodness darling, I'm just amazed I've been able to do it everyday so far.
Well, the server is up again, but it's bloody slow. I'm so tired… ran lots of errands today, bought a cell phone, got my class schedule half-planned out. The class scheduling is such a bother, but oh well. More on this to come (when the lab functions a bit better perhaps…)
