As the world turns.

Hola folks!

Once again, time has passed much too quickly and I don't know where it all went. I also can't think of much to write about...which is silly because a lot has been happening. I just can't get my brain to organize it enough to put it into coherent sentences. Life in Kathyville has been something like...( this )

You might have to look into Straterra for Jake. I'd usually say try to learn cues and such, but I saw the difference it made in TDB, so he could finish that last semester of high school. He didn't stay on it after that, but he said it made all of the difference in how well he focused during classwork. He hadn't remembered how it felt to focus and work that quickly. I wish we'd put him on it when it first came out, his grades and such in high school would have been a whole different story ( ... )

"both as a husband and a provider, he's always been an A+"
I smiled when I read that. The homeschooling mother in you is accustomed to grading!

I considered homeschooling our children when I considered how terrible our local grade school was. Thankfully, we were able to make arrangements for them to attend a private Christian school that did an excellent job teaching the fundamentals. I think I could have homeschooled my daughter, but it would have been a futile, frustrating task to teach my son. He always needed to argue every little point at that age, and I don't think it would have worked for him to learn at home. Every child is different, and, as parents, we try to do the best we can for each one.

I'm sorry for your loss. Death is never easy, even when it is a welcome relief.
