Yep, so get over it.
The doc used this thing called an ear popper on me yesterday. Well, actually the nurses did.
It involves one taking some water and holding in the mouth. At that point, the nurse switches on this laser-pointer looking thing--it's actually a fan. It gets held at the bottom of one nostril. Then, she holds the other nostil closed, and tells you to swallow the water.
Jesus God. Other than breaking my foot, concussing myself by hitting the diving board with my head, and the breast reduction surgery, no one thing has ever hurt so much at one time in my life. Ever.
It worked, kinda. I can hear better with the left ear, but the right is all mushy again. It's going to take some to get me back for that. I swear to high heaven I nearly threw up, it hurt so bad. The acute pain is over quickly, but the residual ache is nasty.
