Well, all six of my plaster molds have failed. One just completely collapsed while drying, which is common, from what I hear. Four developed cracks when I poured pewter in--just the warm up batches, so no big loss. One exploded--but it was still cold, and I was outside. "No Kats were hurt in the explosion of this pewter mold."

Since I did not get hurt, it ain't a Talbot moment. Going to call VRock today to see if they have any green soapstone. And calling Trina to share the lousy news. :-(
