1. What did you do in 2010 that you've never done before?
Traveled to the west coast. It was great, I wanna be there always. However, I also fell in love with New York. They're not really close. I also discovered chip music and love making it.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I can't even remember what mine last year were.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
A guy I work with who I'm fairly cool with is a father as of three days ago.
4. Did anyone close to you die?

5. What states/countries did you visit?
New York, Seattle, Tennessee, Boston...
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
Without sounding too stupid, the happiness and optimism I lost in June.
7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
June 4th.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting involved with Fangamer, and realizing my work ethic was garbage and I needed to shape up. And I did.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Being too naive, and the things that happened because of my vulnerability afterward.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I've stubbed my toe a lot. :( #personaltragedy
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Plane tickets to Seattle. Consequently, my LSDJ cart.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Gerritt Rosa was super cool to me this year, I have him to thank for a lot.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

14. Where did most of your money go?
Traveling. And 2011 doesn't seem to be changing in that regard.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
PAX East and PAX.
16. What song will always remind you of 2010?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
- Happier or sadder? I was really sad last year, but not nearly as jaded and bitter. I'd prefer to be innocently sad than this way, but hey.
- thinner or fatter? About the same. Maybe, hopefully a little more thin.
- richer or poorer? A little more rich, but I keep burning it all on plane tickets and cars that die in 7 months.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Seized the moment this spring/summer. I let it waste in depression, and I was the most excited for it I had ever been for anything before it happened. But thanks to certain events, it was over before it even started.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Broken less hearts and gotten less heartbroken. Alternatively, less emo answer, I wish I would have complained and freaked out less.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
With family, hopefully going out to see some stuff.
21. How will you be spending New Years?
I'll be in Seattle!

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Star Driver is really damned cool.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Maybe a little. Certainly not hate, but unhappy with, yeah.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
N.E.R.D., all this hip hop, and m-flo. Dancey music in general, it's been awesome. It's been the soundtrack of my year.
27. What did you want and get?
A car!

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 21. We played Marvel vs Capcom 2, drank alcohol, and stumbled down to Dominos and got free pizza from my boss.
31. What one thing would have made your year?
Having more time. And never getting involved with things that went bad.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
I can pull off some more slim stuff/smaller stuff, add layers like jackets or button ups, scarves are actually fucking awesome, a bunch of really fabulous bullshit that made me feel really embarrassingly feminine. Essentially this year was "become-as-feminine-as-straightly-possible".
33. What was the best book you read?
I'm beginning to read the Golden Bough. Doesn't answer the question, but it's interesting to me so far... a couple of pages in...
34. What kept you sane?
Music and friends.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
probably like... all of the protomen or the anamanaguchi dudes, neither of which are incredibly famous

None of 'em.

I'unno. I saw a lot of people.

Getting to know Gerritt and Liz has been awesome.
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010.
Life isn't so bad. The ability to put things into perspective has been irreplaceable. Though I lose it more often than I'd like.
