My Mom is so crazy! I love it! This is a little excert from an e-mail my mom sent me yesterday! You guys can add to it if you want, and I will pass it on to her. Maybe she can write a book. LOL!
On the way to work today, I thought of my Mother-in-law and some of her more notable characteristics. One of them being her inability to use language in a creative way. She relies very heavily on the f--k word. I then digressed to the art of cursing and how it could be done in a more genteel way. The result of "this too much time on my hands" has resulted in the following challenge.
Genteel “Curse’ing 101
As an alternative to the modern manner of cursing such as “f… you” or “up yours,” I would like to consider a more genteel way of delivering your feelings that would serve the same purpose.
For example:
1. May you live in interesting times
2. May your Mother win the Westminster best in show
3. May the supercharger on your broom develop an intermittent malfunction
If you know of or can come up with a way of cursing someone one that has the dual benefit of expressing your feeling of the moment, and of so confusing the recipient that you can be a block away before they figure it out. Please add it to the list and share it.
