I'm so sad to hear that John Hughes died! He was such an amazing writer, and an inspiration for me! I mean he wrote movies that everyone related to. To quote John Hughes himself "The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wasteoids, dweebies, dickheads - they all adore him. They think he's a righteous dude."

I've quoted from Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles, so I'm including my favorite Ferris Bueller Quotes.
Not that I condone fascism, or any -ism for that matter. -Ism's in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an -ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me." Good point there. After all, he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. I'd still have to bum rides off people.

I do have a test today, that wasn't bullshit. It's on European socialism. I mean, really, what's the point? I'm not European. I don't plan on being European. So who gives a crap if they're socialists? They could be fascist anarchists, it still doesn't change the fact that I don't own a car.
Seriously, John Hughes wrote some of the best stuff ever! He wrote great teen movies, but he really got adults and kids as well. His family movies are EXCELLENT! Uncle Buck, and of course Home Alone! He was just so, so talented.Heck, even the movies he wrote under a psudonymn because they weren't up to his standards were super successful like Beethoven. I once read an article that claimed he could write a screenplay in a week once he had everything outlined! He hadn't written anything for a while, but he contributed so much to popular culture, and he will be greatly missed.
Also, I finally watched Caprica, which I thought was pretty good. My Uncle actually read for Eric Stoltz's (He was in Some Kind of Wonderful so John Hughes tie in!) part as the Greystone patriarch. They wanted a name, so he didn't get it, but apparently one of the guys who did get a part in Caprica came with my uncle to my Aunt Peggy and Uncle Kevin's (who are vacationing with us) for Thanksgiving Dinner. I forget his last name, but his first name is Sasha. He plays one of the Adama family members. Speaking of the cast of Caprica Andy from Kyle XY had a HUGE part in it! or Magda Apanowicz is her real name. She's actually 24. I thought she was a little younger.
Here She is on Kyle XY
And Here She is on Caprica
I wanted to find a better picture of her, but there were none on google images. Anyway, Caprica looks pretty promising. It's definitely different than Battlestar, but it looks like it could be thought provoking. I'm not sure if the characters will be as compelling as the ones on BSG yet, but you can't really tell that from a pilot. I hope Magda will be a series regular. It looks like she will!
