Greenville Highland Games
Well another game at Furman watching guys in kilts throw stuff across a field. It wasn't as humid this year as last so the heat wasn't quite as bad. Even so, Kay Cummings, (the gentleman that runs the athletics)who is recovering from cancer, had to be taken to the hospital. I think the heat was just too much for him. The games continued, and things went really well despite Kay being unable to remain.
I had some fantastic help this year. My friends and a few family members really came through for me to help keep things running as smoothly as they ever have. Doc in particular was amazing, making sure everyone stayed hydrated and cool.
I doubt I'll get to any other games until Hartwell since Grandfather mountain and a few others I'd be interested in seeing fall on SOLAR weekends.
