I can't see anything, the picture is very tiny. Don't panic yet. Firstly have you put on any new hacks? Sometimes it can be very innocuous well used hacks that can cause trouble due to clashes with other hacks. There is a well used hack over at MTS which makes kids place their homework on their desk, lots of people use it no troubles. The day I tried that my sims hands came off and I had long triangles poking through the roof. It was scary, but I removed the hack and it hasn't come back.
Next step would be to remove your entire hack folder, load and check. Then your entire download folder, load and check. Do this in a test hood. Hopefully it's cc related.
If not I would next try a game regeneration in case it's something borked in your Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2. There are various ways of doing this, but liking things easy, I just copy and paste the Sims2 folder to my desktop. That way I know I have everything. Other people rename the folder so the game can't read it. You then load the game letting it make a new Sims 2 folder. This makes a fresh unplayed game. Check and see how it plays.
Argh! Everytime I took the hacks out and put ACR or any of the other hacks in one-per-try, it borked the game! I'm going to do your other suggestion and see how that goes.
