So, a number of days ago I got my computer back from being fixed. This is a good thing *nods head*. Anyway, I went about installing all of my games back onto it, when I came to sims 2. I managed to install Sims 2 onto it, but when I tried to install Uni it installed it then immediately uninstalled it.
As you can imagine I was NOT HAPPY. I decided to uninstall the whole game and just start over, but it wouldn't allow me to uninstall Sims 2 properly. So I search around on the `net to see what could be done about that and found something which seemed to work. I try to install sims 2 again but it comes up with a message which states that it isn't compatible with this version of windows (I have Windows 7). So yeah, after all the bad news and frustration I've already been through in the last week, I have to deal with this. >_<
*takes deep breath* And that's not all! When I looked around my computer to check that I got all the Sims 2 files off of it I found the Sims 2 icon-thingy in the games section. So I clicked on it to see what would happen--it popped up with the message that originally popped up. Yeah, I'm having do try and cope with major sims withdrawal on top of everything else.
NOT. HAPPY. JAN!!!
grrr; rant
