but I've been thinking a while. There may be some truth to the me getting burned out with Tat bit. I did go to the Prader Willi training today, and I'm glad I did. In many ways, looking at this with perspective, I did really want to make things right with Tat, to try and make up for her shitty past, and identifying with her. We are a lot alike. We juggle relationship to surround ourselves with love we have been lacking all our lives. I did really want her affection as well, and for her to like me. Mara as well, but she is more independent. But that's the thing that really hurts. I do honestly care for them and it's like they are punishing me for that caring and desire to grow those relationships. And it's true, when I honestly think about it, I did create some tension with her by some of my habits and trying to be nice to her. It's weird. She asked for pop yesterday for dinner, and after some thought, I said no and poured out the juice instead. She sighed kind of pissed, but then actually seemed to relax after I said no. It is the boundaries thing... Maybe Tat and I do need a break from each other. But I do think it's wrong for them to take all of my 603 back shifts from me though. I did talk to Bonny for a little bit. She seemed frazzled and not really wanting to get involved, but finally gave in to a meeting with me, Tarah, and her. I have to keep following up though. I know it's not something she wants to do, but I want to get my point across, and I think this might be the only way.
I talked with Stacy (they fired her too, and she was employee of the month last month...ironic, eh?) and we were talking about how if Tat didn't have Prader Willi Syndrome, she would more than likely be pregnant many times over and how most other staff condemn Tat for having those multiple 'boyfriends' or relationships. I understand it. I have done similar things in my past (and present).
More about Stacy, she has been on Tarah's shit list for a while, perhaps partially because they both are lesbians and Tarah herself told Stacy she 'doesn't like other lesbians.' Also, Stacy is from the East, and we are stuck here in the Passive Aggressive Bullshit midwest. She tells it like it is and doesn't pull punches. That's another reason why she and Tarah bumped heads a lot. Tarah thinks the rules apply to certain people (not her). And of course Joyce. I hate that they fired her. She was really cool and I think she responded to the guys at 214 well.
I do not accept this Joyce write up bullshit, but it seems like everyone wants to look the other way on that one. But then again, she seems to have had run ins with most staff, even Mason (the new pc). I'm also trying to get Mason to advocate for me, since he does seem to have decent follow up skills and the desire to help the girls instead of just avoid them.
True, having Scott the Worthless Asshole for a supervisor again will suck big time (he still hasn't gotten me that reimbursement check...from June because I didn't write down the form to exactly his Highnesses specifications, even though that's the way Miss Queen (Tarah, the executive director) Herself does it). But in truth, I will (hopefully) rarely see his worthless ass. And I have to keep telling myself this is only for a month, this is only for a month...I wonder why he wants me to work those hours, since this all seemed to happen right after I told him I didn't want to work the Thursdays at 603 Up. :P I can't stand that guy. But then again, I all I have to do is be REALLY careful to do all things as specified and COVER MY ASS since a lot of people seem to be getting writeups and and fired lately.
Wait and see, wait and see...
