They are starting to damage my calm!
I pride myself on being pretty darn unflappable at work. 6'4" 65 year old man with full grown Santa style beard and sexy Santa mini skirt? Escorting high-as-a-kite drunk people off airplanes? Getting banana peels thrown at me? Yeah, whatevs. Just another day in the life. So perhaps I was just off my game today but I got seriously flapped by not one but TWO passengers.
I said a chipper "Hi! How are you?" to a man. He turned, gave me the blankest stare ever, and pointed at his long-sleeved t-shirt which read: Not Dead Yet. I managed an awkward thumbs up and a weak "Well, that's a good start ..." I had nothing!
An older woman walked onto the plane wearing a spider pin on her shoulder. Like up on top of her shoulder just sitting there, perching, looking creepy as hell. It was the diameter of a golf ball and matte silver with some crystal accents. It was so realistic looking despite that and it freaked me the hell out. Seriously. There was shuddering. *twitches*
