It's Holiday Drabbly Bit Time! SQUEE!
You guys! You guys! It's here! The first day of my fourth annual Holiday Drabbly Bit Festival of Fun! SQUEE! I'm very proud of this year's lot and I got an excuse to write a few fics that I'd actually been wanting to write for a long while and then got perfect prompts for. (I ♥ my F-List so much!)
I'll post the first one in just a few minutes here. Final reminders: Drabbly Bits will be posted daily for the next 16 days (starting on St. Nicholas' Day and ending on the Solstice! How sweetly Holiday-y is that?) When your fic is posted I will leave a reply to your prompt comment on the original post with a loud, obnoxious, all caps title, so you will know your pressie is here! Some are quite short, some are LONG. Remember kids, the wordcount does not dictate how much I love you, so don't be comparing your fic with others. Some prompts inspired me like crazy and some insisted on smaller stories. We love all kinds here.

This year's round includes 15 drabbly bits plus one full length fic that is a holdover from last year for a total of 16.
(Because it's more than three times longer than the longest drabbly bit, I excluded it from some of the numbers to get a more realistic portrayal. Numbers disregarding the full length fic are starred below. Also, word counts included here are subject to change slightly with last minute edits so there is a small margin for error but this is fanfic not accounting, so I don't really care.)

Median (mid) Word Count: 793* (OH MY GOSH THEY ARE THE SAME THIS YEAR! HOW COOL IS THAT?!)

Compared with previous years, my average word count is down but my median word count is up. The number of stories written is comparable (16 in 2010, 19 in 2011, 15 in 2012, and 16 in 2013). I had a lot more Star Trek prompts this year, which was a little surprising (but great!) as ST fandom is pretty slow right now. All in all, I'm actually pretty consistent!
