Aric took me out for dinner tonight since we won't have time to do that during my birthday tomorrow night. On our way out of the restaurant, we spotted a carnival in the circuit city parking lot and decided to give it a go. We rode the tilt-a-whirl, and then looked around at the stuff.
Before we got there, i randomly told aric that I wanted a goldfish. Coincidentally the carnival had one of those booths where you try to get a ball in a bowl of water to get a goldfish in a little plastic bag. We had 10 balls, and I made it in on the last one.
we are now the proud owners of a greyish goldfish named Marney. We got him a cookie-jar turned fish bowl and some fish food from target. He's very curious about his surroundings and he likes to dig at the marbles in the bottom of his bowl.
