So I bought a round of shots for everybody at my friend Scott's birthday celebration bar outing last night and my brother takes his shot and then proceeds to eject it, through his nose, all over the front of me. Apparently he got it in his windpipe and was coughing it up in lieu of dying, but at the expense of th sirt was wearing. The further problem of this was the fact that by wearing only my undershirt now my confidence was shot. So I neglected to approach and talk to the hot girl in the green tank top soon enough and she was instead approached by some other who proceeded to buy her drinks and dangle from her shoulders like a sloppily donned accoutrement. Seeing my prey already snatched up by a men that was less than half as attractive as me, and had no where near my suavity I was crushed for the night and took no pleasure in the final Punch in the Face I got from Ryan the bartender...despite it being made with a Rockstar and not a crappy Red Bull. The real kick in the teeth was that half our table left without settling up and stuck me with a $150 bar tab. That was really the proverbial straw as earlier in the night we stood outside BJ's for over 75 minutes because initially they gave us a wait time of 50 minutes, at 55 I checked in only to get told that they forgot that they had given us a pager and thought we left, another 20 minutes later I go in to check and they claim to have attempted to page us thrice and a quick test only proved that the pager they had given me was broken anyway. Their attempt to make recompense was 3 free appetizers, which was good despite being divided up amongst 9 peoples. Well, now that I have gotten all the sour out, I wish to say I had a great time celebrating Scott's 31st and got pleasantly drunk enough to enjoy the night without having any negative repercussions the next morning other than a starving wallet and an almost empty checking account.
