..... ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME????? XD Are you serious??? God I am so sick of this video game debate! How hard is it to NOT buy the game?? Even the video itself says it's parents buying them, and from personal experience working in a game store I saw that first hand O_o. I would even TELL these people NOT to buy the game and WHY they SHOULDN'T, and they'd STILL buy it XD. Then, when little Jimmy or little Suzy goes apeshit, it MUST be the game's fault. Oh yeah, cause you know, a game can totally make chidlren crazy... just like movies and books.
I love the comment halfway through how GTA has both drinking and porn in there too, 3 for 1 special lol.
But are parents really so "afraid" of a form of MEDIA that seeing their child consuming alcohol worries them less? I cannot comprehend this! Alcohol can severely damage a child, physically and mentally! A video cannot do this unless the child has problems to begin with! And even so, THERE ARE RATINGS ON THE DAMN BOX!!! Your spoiled rotten 6 year old, shouldn't even know about M rated games!! Would you take your kid to an R rated movie?? Of course not! SO WHY the hell would you buy them an M rated game??? Are parents really so pathetically lazy, that they can't be bothered to read the label? They can't ask someone if it's age appropriate? They can't do more than just LOOK at the cover and make an assumption from the box art???
"Well, they're just toys" NO THEY AREN'T!! Video games are just like movies, there's something for every age range, so you have to PAY ATTENTION!! And how is that even an excuse these days?? There's no way, with the bombardment of advertizing there is for games today, that a parent won't stop and think "hmm, maybe there isn't stuff JUST for kids on these systems."
And language barriers and other such excuses are bullshit too! If MY mom who barely knows english can look at a game and go "WTF?! You shouldn't have this!" then everyone else's can too!! Especially since most of the parents bitching, are "American" English speaking soccer mom bitches, who are too "busy" gossiping at their book club meetings, or trying to keep up "appearances" instead of paying attention to their own offspring ><.
"Oh noes, my little boy is so sweet and innocent, the game TOTALLY corrupted him" Hmm how about, TAKING the game AWAY, Getting RID of it or just pay closer attention when you buy it next time!!! No one is sugar coating these games to make them appeal to kids o_O, hello most of the covers of these games have these really gruff looking guys or gorey backgrounds that looks like something out of SAW or The Ring!!!
