When I came to, I had missed my stop by quite a bit, so rather than get off there, I figured I'd just wait for the bus to turn around. The driver pulled into stop at the end of the route, and as I looked around, I suddenly noticed I was the only one left on the bus. He rolled the destination sign around, then turned to me and asked, in a rough voice, "Where are you headed?"
"Lincoln Way," I stammered.
"We passed Lincoln Way," he replied, raising an eyebrow. "Where are you headed?"
"I know," was all I had to say. I glanced back at the window. He simply shook his head and returned to the front of the bus.
That'll teach you to talk to me.
This journal is now friends-only, save for the occasional recent entry. At such a point as I'm not socially phobic, I'll post publicly like a normal person, but right now I only feel comfortable with a limited number of people. That said, if you express interest, I will more than likely be happy to add you. Comments to this entry will be screened for my privacy but mostly yours.
Nothing else to see here. Move along.
