Kat, that's gorgeous! I love version 2 more. Where'd you get the texture/background/design/stock pic with the lines and the reddish-orangey-purplish tint? (sorry, my words aren't working with my thoughts at the moment--which is really not good since I'm writing a paper, lol)
the stock pic didn't actually have any lines in it. what I did was put this stock pic over a dark pic background on screen, along with one of TRE's textures that I used a couple of times - once the whole thing and twice I cropped parts out of it that I wanted in certain areas to make it darker/lighter. all the lines I just kinda drew on using a square brush and the marquee tool and lots of different colors/blend modes. after that I thought that overall everything was too bright so I merged the layers, copied it and adjusted the colors a bit to be darker, and set the new copy on 50% overlay. does that make sense? my brain isn't working either.
(In other words, I love both versions. I think they're both smashingly gorgeous, and I adore the colors and boxes and lines and text. You are...an art godess.)
Yeah, I just realized I made a typing error. I meant "goddess." I know you know, but...yeah. It's for my own sake. :-p But yes, you have so much talent. I am quite jealous. You just blend and use colors so well, and add so many great elements to your works.
Glee, thanks! I love Coldplay. Love, love, love them.
